Ready for Fall

A beautiful shimmer dark brown color as an undercoat. I then used a gold polish to stamp a scrolling pattern. Finish with a clear top coat! Simple yet elegant.

Feeling Blue!

I love floral scrolling and felt it would look fabulous using dark blue and black, while adding a little white to cut through the dark.  I used a dark blue metallic polish as a french tip.  Next, I used black acrylic paint to create the scrolling.   I then added a few white dots and covered with clear.

Lacey!

I decided to try out a lace pattern.  I used the gold medal color, as in the cheetah print....it is a pretty color.  Then, I used black acrylic paint to draw the lace pattern...covered with clear to finish.

A little cheetah!

I thought I would try a cheetah print to bring in the New Year with some feistiness!  While having a few nails that are growing back after breaking, this pattern can be done on long and short nails.....as seen in my poor photo. I started with a gold medal color and then used a gold glitter polish as an overlay.   Next I used a dark pink polish to create the inner cheetah print and finished off with a black outline.  Cover with clear and viola,  a little cheetah!

A little damask

I thought I would try a floral damask pattern to finish out 2014!  For this...I used a maroon color polish with a gold medal color at the tips.  I used white paint to add a slight pattern and finished with a few black rhinestones.  (It is a little rough, but I plan on practicing the technique to make it more presentable....no stencils!)
